MBM stands for Music By Mattie. It's the name on the plugins I make for vocals, the same way Music By Mattie is the name on the channel, the presets and this site. Same person, same support, same place to buy.

Each plugin does a job I used to do by hand on every vocal. Three of them are built on what I measured in 3,054 hit vocals.

Built on 3,054 hit vocals

I separated the vocal from 3,054 Billboard hits released between 1990 and 2025 and measured their tone, compression, level against the track, and stereo width.

magic.METER grades your vocal against that data. magic.CURVE takes its tonal target from it, and magic.PRESS its compression target.

The research is public, so you can check the numbers yourself.
